Hearing God&#39;s truth we could respond joyfully, angrily, sorrowfully etc. &amp; such emotional responses can be reflected in actions like clapping our hands, striking someone or crying etc. In Lk 16:14 the Pharisees hear Jesus teaching on money, they process it in their minds &amp; emotionally it upsets them so they act/respond by sneering.
